Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has released a Advertisement No. 79/उ0अ0से0च0आ0/2026 dated 21 July 2026, inviting online applications for 379 vacancies of Lekhakar (Accountant), Sahayak Lekhakar (Assistant Accountant), Sahayak Lekhakar/Kanishtha Sampreekshak, Karyalaya Sahayak-Tritiya (Lekha), and Cashier cum Sahayak Lekhakar posts across various departments of Uttarakhand Group 'C' services.
Eligible candidates can apply online at www.sssc.uk.gov.in from 26 July 2026 to 15 August 2026.

Age Criteria
Age is calculation will de done as on 01 July 2026. For most posts, candidates must be born between 02 July 1984 and 01 July 2005; for the Sahayak Lekhakar/Kanishtha Sampreekshak (Jal Sansthan) post, candidates must be born between 02 July 1984 and 01 July 2008.

Pay and Allowances
Selected candidates will be placed on the following pay levels as per the 7th Pay Commission-based pay matrix:
- Lekhakar (BRIDCUL): Level-06, Rs. 35,400 – Rs. 1,12,400
- Sahayak Lekhakar (most departments): Level-05, Rs. 29,800 – Rs. 94,300 or Rs. 29,200 – Rs. 92,300 (department-wise, as detailed in Vacancy Details)
- Karyalaya Sahayak-Tritiya (Lekha): Level-04, Rs. 27,200 – Rs. 86,100
- Cashier cum Sahayak Lekhakar: Level-04, Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100
Selection Process
Selection will be made through an offline objective-type (multiple choice) competitive written examination carrying 100 marks (100 questions) to be completed in 2 hours. The syllabus is based on Commerce, Business Administration, and Accountancy, covering Financial Accounting, Computerised Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Management, Money & Banking, Business Organization & Management, Business Economics & Statistics, Marketing Management, and Auditing, Taxation & Business Laws.
- Each question carries equal marks; 1/4th mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 45% for General/OBC/EWS and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
- Marking more than one answer for a question is treated as a wrong answer.
- A qualifying typing test is also part of the exam scheme for relevant posts.
- The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written examination, followed by document/record verification.

How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official UKSSSC website by following these steps:
- Visit the official website www.sssc.uk.gov.in.
- Complete Step 1: Registration with basic personal details, mobile number, and email ID.
- Proceed to Step 2 and fill in Educational Qualification and other required details.
- In Step 3, upload a scanned recent colour passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed format (JPG/JPEG) and size.
- In Step 4, pay the applicable application fee online via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.
- Review all entered details carefully before final submission, as no changes are allowed except a limited one-time edit window (excluding name, parents' names, age, and exam centre).
- Click Submit to complete the application.
- In Step 5, download and print the confirmation/application form for personal records.
