Overview
G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUAT) has announced official notification for a Walk-in Interview for 3 Teaching Personnel Posts in Mathematics Disciplines in College of Basic Sciences & Humanities. Candidates having Doctorate Degree in the subject concerned. Master's degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent. Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates. NET/SLET is essential where conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR or any other Central/State Govt. agency. If Ph.D. or NET/SLET is not available, first class M.Sc. degree in related discipline is essential. qualification can directly attend the interview on 01 September 2026. The positions are tenable only for 1st Semester of Academic Year 2026-27.

Eligibility Criteria
- Doctorate Degree in the subject concerned.
- Master's degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent.
- NET/SLET will be an essential qualification in the discipline where
NET/SLET is conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR or any other Central/ State
Govt. agency.
- In case where candidate with Ph.D.'s. degree or NET/SLET is not
available, the essential qualification shall be first class M.Sc. degree
in related discipline.
Salary / Stipend
- For Assistant Professor eligibility: Rs. 650/- per hour (maximum Rs. 30,000/- per month)
- For Master's degree holders: Rs. 550/- per hour (maximum Rs. 25,000/- per month)

Walk-In Procedure
